The Valorant Tier list is as follows:
S Layer
S-Tier agents can prove to be game changers for their teams. While Jett is the most effective duelist, he can provide information for the team and clear large areas with his Sova utility kit.
Also, although Astra and Viper are Controller agents, they act as a hybrid between Controller and Sentinel. Both agents must choose to maintain control after capturing a bomb site or blocking the attackers’ entry.

Tier A
- Neon
- sky
- sage
- Divide
- omen
Neon It was introduced with the latest Law in Valorant and contains abilities that allow it to pass quickly across the map. With Skye on the team, it’s never been easier to surprise your opponents and open up bomb sites by surprising them.
Chamber is a Sentinel agent who is relatively new to the agent pool. However, players can use his Rendezvous ability to create match-winning games.
Also, Sage and Omen have been part of the game since beta and are some of the easiest agents to play. You can never go wrong choosing these agents and their skills give the team good map control.

Tier B
- destroy
- Reyna
- killjoy
- password
Tier B agents do not fall into the category that must be selected, as do agents in the layers above. However, players can choose these agents based on how good they are on certain maps.
Choosing Raze in Split and Bind could be a game-winning decision. On the other hand, if you’re aiming, Reyna can be great at picking up and removing entry pieces without taking any damage.
Both Killjoy and Cypher have a similar playstyle and role. And choosing either can help your team not be afraid of the flank.

Level C
C-Tier agents don’t provide anything that the above agents don’t bring to the table. Rather, they can be considered a downgrade for the same role.

While choosing Breach and Brimstone can give duelists a good boost during entry, team cohesion is essential for this to work.
KAY/O is an Initiator agent and can be a good choice to counter Viper and Sentinel installations in the bomb zone. However, it can still only be implemented when there is more coordination in the team.

Layer D
When it comes to choosing a duelist, most players don’t even think about choosing Phoenix anymore. Yoru is also in a tough spot as players cannot choose a manager, which will drag the team down.
With that in mind, it’s safe to say that D-Tier agents need rework to be viable in the ranked and professional scene.
